Adirondack Fly FishingI have newly formed the AuSable River Rod Company, using the best graphite blanks available, our own special tapers and over 50 years of rod building experience. I got disgusted with many of the rods being sold for ridiculous prices and made from blanks that were both inconsistent in quality and casting ability. Why pay $400 or $500 for a rod that may or may not perform well. We build custom rods from the finest blanks (IM6 hi modulus), customized to our own tapers. They will outperform those hyped rods and save you money. My deluxe rod (with the exotic wood handle) sells for $595.00 and comes with lifetime warranty, custom sewn bag and aluminum case with logo. The same rod with cork handle is $495.00. Cast one of our custom rods and compare. One cast is worth a thousand words!!

NOTE: Last year was our best year ever in the 44 years we've been in business. I sold 180 of my custom rods from the shop and many of my customers have ordered additional rods for the coming season. For those belonging to fishing clubs, we are offering a 20% discount to those ordering three rods. For a six rod order the discount will be 30%.
